I have discovered a great oriental medicine doctor located in Danggam Dong which is north-west of Seomyeon. You can get to Danggam by taking the 17 bus from the Lotte in Seomyeon [catch the bus across the road from the Lotte]. When the bus makes a right hand turn off the main road and you are going down a two lane street with shops on either side keep your eyes open for an intersection with a light where there’s a pizza hut on the left hand side. Get off at the next stop and walk back to that intersection. Cross the street so you are diagonally across from the corner that the pizza hut is on. Walk down the sidewalk you are now on - you should be walking away from the intersection. Keep your eyes open for McDonalds and a store called Basic House - both on the OTHER side of the road. About 2 blocks away from the intersection you should see a long sign that has an orange outline of a plus sign [+] with a dramatic face mask on it [look up b/c it’s up on the second floor]. Go up the stairs and you will be at Jungdaun Oriental Medicine Clinic. The phone number is 051 896 2100 and email is rhrnal@daum.net The receptionists are very friendly but don’t speak any English.
The doctor uses acupuncture, herbs and cupping. The hours are 9-7 Mon to Fri and 10 to 5 on Saturdays. It costs 5,100 won/treatment [if you have a health card] and you don’t have to make appointments ahead of time. My first appointment cost me 7,000 won I think.
The doctor speaks fairly good English and is really caring. He’s the second one I’ve gone to and I left the first one b/c there was minimal communication and the first doctor didn’t seem to care that much about me. This doctor has put a lot of effort and time into understanding my medical history and wants to help me get better.ue

After crossing the Hannam Bridge you need take a left at the first or second intersection. This will take you into the Itaewon shopping district. Drive towards Itaewon subway station. Our building will be on the right side after passing the Itaewon Hotel and Hana Bank. There is a "7-Eleven" convenience store on the first floor of our olive green building.
Parking: There is free parking behind our building. To get there, take a right at the first light after passing our building. There is an LG gas station at the intersectionwhere you turn. Drive all the way up the street and take a right. Then take another right at the second or third intersection, which will lead you down to a 3-way intersection at which you will take a left. You will then see a huge sign for the “International Clinic”. Take the elevator down to the 1st floor.
From the Banpo Bridge (Yongsan Army base) direction:
Head towards Itaewon subway station. Pass the Hamilton Hotel and at the second light our olive green building will be on the left side. There is a "7-Eleven" convenience store on the first floor of our "Hannam Building". We are located on the first floor past the elevators.
Parking: There is free parking behind our building. To get there, pass the Hamilton Hotel and turn left at the first light after There is an LG gas station at the intersection where you turn. Drive all the way up the street . You will see a “Swiss Chalet” restaurant, which you will pass and then take a right. Then take another right at the second or third intersection, which will lead you down to a 3-way intersection at which you will take a left. You will then see a huge sign for the “International Clinic”. Take the elevator down to the 1st floor.
Subway Directions: Take line #6 and get off of Itaewon Station (STN 630) and go out exit #2. Walk straight for 5-7 minutes and you will see the “7-Eleven” convenience store o on the first floor of our green building. Take the elevator and we are located on the 10th floor.
